Who attends a caucus? Everyone in the community who is interested in the way they are governed.

When is the caucus? Communities have caucuses on an ongoing basis, however, the Feb. 7 Caucus is special because it allows us the opportunity to vote for Presidential Nominees.

Why attend the caucus? You can speak for Minnesota College students, to make sure your community is concerned about our issues.

What do I do at the Caucus?

• You can vote in the presidential straw poll to select a nominee for your party.
• You can become a delegate and participate in the county, state, and national conventions for your party.
• You can become an officer, and help lead your local caucus.
• You can pass higher education focused policy resolutions, which will help you, educate others on our issues, and could affect the party platform.
• You can show up and discuss higher education issues with other caucus members to enhance the voice of our students in the political process.
